By most metrics I'm still a "beginner lifter" and I don't expect to be able to reclassified much beyond beginner-intermediate for a very very long time. At my current rate of progress, I'm guessing another 2 years as a 'beginner'. http://muscleandbrawn.com/are-you-a-beginner-intermediate-or-advanced-lifter/

My beginner's weight lifting routine started January 2014.
Complete guide to the StrongLifts 5x5 workout thousands of people have used to get stronger, build muscle and burn fat training only three times a week.

Started with https://www.reddit.com/r/keto and +Dr. Simonds Weight Loss December 2014. I didn't take proper before photos, so here's what I have.

EDIT:
I used http://stronglifts.com/ for strength training to avoid muscle wasting during weight loss.

EDIT:
Keto started 2014-10-10 and StrongLifts started 2015-01-19

SW: 295 lbs, 43% body fat
2015-07-18: 205 lbs, 14% body fat

* It would be nice to get below 200 lbs for a nice round number if I could get to 195 I could say I lost 100 lbs. That would sound good but I'm not 100% sure I need to do that. There's also the fact that my lifts are definitely starting to stall. I'm not sure which goal motivates me more.

I once interviewed and hired (recommended for hire really) someone who claimed they were on Stuart Feldman's team that invented the Make and Makefile system. Later, I found that this particular person couldn't hack their way out of a wet paper bag.

This one experience has made me very very suspicious of good looking resumes... I'm not saying you're lying I'm just going to want to talk to you about what you did ... not your team. What did you actually do? Did you just take credit for everyone else's work?

If you ever interview with me, don't just talk about what your peers did.
