I'm really disappointed with all the #newgoogleplus layout complaints about whitespace. Whitespace is a good thing. Would you like the entire page of http://google.com/ to be filled up with junk, too?

However, I will make this complaint: the content areas should be sized in units relative to the font size so that when I increase the font size, the content area changes appropriately so that it keeps about the same number of characters per line.

I don't mind the white space either.
 
I'd prefer if the white space were actually a pastel... the bright white hurts my eyes and makes it hard for me to look at the screen.

I'll have migraines until October, of course, here in the Florida summer.
