Well Vive shows you your room bounds (in game) when you approach them, so generally it's not tooo much of an issue. But with HoloBall, we hit the walls many times, and threw the controllers into them several times as well, when swinging the racket it's easy to nail shit with your follow through.

The way I'm designing this boxing game though, you must stand in the back half of your playspace to fight, if you step off that white area, the game will pause, so this will make sure you don't hit anything in front of you.

Run this in Unity, to generate 120bytes of garbage / frame. 
List<int> ints = new List<int> { 1 };
void Update(){
    foreach (var i in ints) { };//40bytes
    foreach (var i in ints) { };//each loop
    foreach (var i in ints) { };//No matter how many iterations...
}
Lame right!? Really lookin forward to that upgraded compiler...
