Get more comfortable being uncomfortable. That doesn't mean you have to always be charging after goals. Sometimes it's the soft and subtle things that make us uncomfortable.... I can give you two examples

1) SHAVASANA-SKIPPERS People who skip the end of yoga class shavasana are probably the ones that need it the most but they aren't COMFORTABLE being still.

2) WALKING - Yes! Walking! For those of us intense little beings, slowing ourselves down to a walk is nearly a waste of precious time... at least we THINK. It's hard to slow down and YET the benefits of walking include everything from helping anxiety, adrenal fatigue, thyroid issues to depression. On top of that, studies now show, walking help your body to burn fat more efficiently by taking you out of a state of stress.

It's time for ALL of us to build a restorative method into our busy lives....no matter how uncomfortable it makes you feel. To my SIX WEEKS ON POINTE TEAM, that's why that one hour walk is programed into your schedule. That's your restorative hormonal and stress reset button!! And thank goodness for that!! ;) xoxo ~S
