I shot this at my parents 50th wedding anniversary on the 21st of December. the husband only gave me enough time to squeeze of 4 shots, so I did not get one with her mouth closed.
So my mother sent here the shot and she said OH NO my mouth is open, but mom also said that she never has it closed.
She is a wonderful, lovely and very funny friend of my mothers, it was so nice to meat some of her friends
It was so amazing that posted a very beautiful song, then Liv showed me the Video of Dane with his class doing a song with the Video in the back ground.
A heads up, Sorry about the nose picking.
You also might want to skip ahead about 30 seconds.
Dane in his favorite color Red and centre stage front row.
Again it the wrong way around.
This one was 25 years ago in two weeks.
So on the 21st of December this year I will be taking my parents 50th wedding anniversary Portrait.
I remember the night very well, it was an amazing dinner and something we dod not do much of.
We were campers and dinner in the bush most of the time, at least once a month :))
I only really just noticed how well these shots came out, I gave the school 326 photo's, so I have only looked closely at a few of them and skipped over the rest.
So to the two young ladies waving the very large flags, well done.
Thank You for such an awesome comment :))
Thank You I would to like to see what went on to, I was so busy running around getting shots done I really missed a lot of the show.
But they are going to have a DVD of it, so I can catch up then :))
Thank you I am told by Nisse it was part of the dance they were performing, I would like to see it on the DVD when it comes out :))
I have known Craig for about 30 + years, he has Cerebral Palsy.
My father was in the Air Force with his father.
Craig also suffers a lot of seizures from Epilepsy.
I was given a Challenge.
Craig's mother that he never smile when he gets his photo taken.
So I took that as a challenge.
I got him to smile, I even got him to laugh.
I hope its not going to be to bad.
Summer finishes here tomorrow, Saturday is the first day of Autumn, here in Australia they go by the start of a month for the weather seasons.
Saturday the 21st of December my mother and father celebrated there 50th wedding anniversary.
I had set up to take a bunch of portraits for them but it got cut very short due to Dane having a couple of accidents.
I did get a few shots of mom and dad before we left, and I have to say thank you to my lovely wife for looking after the kids when I took this.
Everyone was in the car ready to head off home and Liv entertained them till I got a few shots, then packed up and to head home.
The neckless my mother is wearing was worn the day they got married, but it was not worn by my mother, it was worn by her mother.
She has been keeping it all these years and waiting to ware it on this very special day.
Here in Australia the 21st in Summer Solace, the longest day of the year, so it has to be said, and I say it to dad every year, it was the longest day of your life, but one he never looked back on :))
On the 21st of December my parents will celebrate 50 years of marriage.
I often say, it was dad's longest day of his life, been that here in Australia it Summer Solstice on that day.
My sister asked if I could retouch a couple of photo's, she is having them printed on Canvas.
one image is the day they got married and the other is on there 25th wedding anniversary, I was there for that dinner and remember it well.
So here is a before and after or well the way G+ put it up after and before.
Funny thing is people get married now at the age they got married and its considered not knowing what you are doping, but they did.
Thank you Carolyn :))
A very quick portrait while everyone was in the final stages of getting ready.
Straight out of camera.
I know, I got a shock after I took this shot.
She did to, she even said that she looks older in the photo :))
she does have gorgeous blue eyes and that smile has a very lovely person behind it, thank you :))
Thank you it is one of my favourites from the night, I had 3 minutes to get this shot.
