Your Stride discussion doing rounds on facebook and here my reply. Previous to the discussion I had never heard of Eyewear to be honest but had experience of POD through SALT. My comment as follows..."If he turns a small profit publishing books very few people will ever want good luck to him...I think what Stride and rest of traditional publishers (most self-arts council funded in one way or another) maybe don't like is the whole Submittable model....which may be the only model left if all arts council funding stripped away as it surely will be ;-(" Having had a insight into POD and its benefits (fast turn round..limited overheads) and down side (out of print fairly quickly and items dropped when not selling) I feel qualified to at least defend the model you using. I think the tag 'Katrina Fish' is fishy to say the least maybe a more well known author using as cover? Keep up the good work and like SALT try and establish a viable publishing model for authors god knows we need it.....the old one is broken..there a lot who won't admit that or trying to cover it up ;-(

I have been inspired by a fairly innocuous Victorian postcard I found online which symbolises where I come from..literally.. I hope to create a set of three related but different media outcomes from same basic idea. below some mock-ups of how it may come…

Before trailer Star ( Born and died 2001 by the way) I had a brief period as a ‘serious’ singer songwriter. Most seriously whilst in Scotland in 1994-6. I and my then partner Ana from Zaragoza got on a train and moved to Edinburgh in August 1994. It was a…
