The winter months can be rough on kids. That's why I had my husband build me a super cute On The Go Medicine Box for my car. When the kids call home asking for medicine I like being able to jump in the car without having to gather the medicine they need. I also love having this kit when we travel because buying meds at a convenience store is not cheap. Check out our DIY box and grab a coupon for Chloraseptic spray and lozenges.

I’m a mom of four which means I get calls from the school nurse on a regular basis. I have very strict rules about leaving school when you don’t feel well. Unless the kids are running a fever or have something contagious they know they are staying in school. Children who’s parents work from home …

Introduction
I'm a blogger and marketing enthusiast! I first carved out my own little space on the interwebs about eight years ago, when I was pregnant with my third child. As a military family we were always looking for ways to stay connected, and a blog seemed like the perfect solution.

After a few years of personal family blogging, I fell in love with couponing, and a coupon blog followed. While I still love saving money, blogging about coupons wasn't my end goal. After working with a few brands on my blog, I discovered my passion for online marketing (and marketing in general). Over the past eight years I have learned more than I would have ever imagined about blogging, marketing, and social media, and I continue to learn daily.

Faithfully Free is my final resting place. Within the confines of my personal space I share what my life. I have blogged about my divorce, remarriage (to the same man), my children, our favorite apps, and of course all of our favorite recipes, crafts, and travel destinations.

Over the past three years I have also grown to love fitness, and enjoy creating my own fun workout routines and recipes.

You never know what you will find when you tune into our crazy life online, but the one thing that remains the same is our transparency. We will always share our hearts and honest opinions with you.

Life can be full of challenges, but you don't have to go through them alone. Drop by and say hello, we would love to connect!

Seeing Double: Celebrities That Could Be Twins - Faithfully Free

Celebrities that could be twins! Wow, they look like family to me!

The kids all agreed that this was the best part of their vacation! We got day passes and spent the day at the water park. Our kids are 12, 11, 7, and 5 and they played all day without ever complaining of being bored. That's hard to find with this age range!

We love Forest Park. They have so much to offer families, and they really care about people. The music is amazing, the atmosphere is casual, and everyone is welcome.

I bought my SUV from Tom Smith Trade In about 2 months ago, and have greatly enjoyed dealing with the staff. Everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable when it came to the cars they had on the lot, and they listed to me when I told them what I was looking for, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want (or couldn't afford). This dealership is family friendly, which was a huge bonus for me because I am a single mom of four and had to take them with me to purchase a vehicle (if you've ever done this you know how stressful it can be). They have a room for children that has a TV, coloring books, toys, and more. The staff was very patient while I dealt with my overtired children. While I love my SUV and have had no problems with it whatsoever; my favorite things about this dealership is the service. They know you by name, and are always willing to help. I don't like feeling like "just another car sale" and I have never felt that way at Tom Smith Trade In. If you are looking for quality vehicles and quality service, look no further.

I went zip lining here last weekend, and it was a blast. I went with a friend, but plan to take my kids as well. This is one of the few zip line courses I have seen that is perfect for the whole family. The guides are helpful and funny, and you even get to stop along the way for some pretty sweet photo ops! If you have never been zip lining this is a great place to go to get started, and if you have children, you will want to bring them with you! Oh, and the homemade lemonade - AWESOME!!

I went to the Wayfarer Motel this weekend, and paid for the room before I checked it out... big mistake! I have stayed in dives at the beach before to save money, but have never had such a bad experience. The floor in the bathroom had hair and dirt on it, so there is no way the housekeeping staff is doing their job. There is also mold in the cracks of the shower door and on the grout work. My biggest complaint however (because I could deal with the other issues for one night) were bed bugs. When I got into the room I pulled back the sheets to check for them. The foot of the bed was clear, but when I pulled the sheets off the side I found a few. I got my stuff out of the room and went to tell the night clerk. I was sure he would issue me a refund, because I figured no one could possibly try to make someone pay for a room with bed bugs, but I was wrong! The first thing he did was say there were no bed bugs in the motel. Then he went to check for himself (without me). When he got back he said there were none, and that if there were any in the room they were dead and had fallen on the floor from changing the mattresses two weeks ago. He told me that because there was no blood, there were no bed bugs! He wouldn't give me a refund, and basically told me I could get a new room or leave. Of course I left. I would NOT recommend this hotel, and with practices like this would love to find out if I can report them to the health department.
