There doesn't seem to be any TV ads for this but saw it this weekend. Definitely worth a look!

Finally watched 'Starry Eyes'-I enjoyed it for the most part. Martin thought it reminded him of 'Contracted'. I hated her so-called friends  though. The way it ended, I'm hoping for a sequel to see what happens next.
V/H/S Viral was SUCH a letdown.  I don't think they'll ever top VHS 2.
I'm looking forward to 'Ejecta' , 'Digging Up the Marrow' and 'Exists'!
I have Dracula on my hard drive, I wanted to see that since I like Luke Evans.

This movie looks a bit like 'Nightbreed'

FIRE CITY: THE INTERPRETER OF SIGNS is the first in a series based on a city where demons coexist with humans in plain sight, humans conditioned not to see their supernatural cohabitants. After developing not just a story but a whole world for these ideas to exist in creators Michael Hayes and Brian Lubocki created test footage and then a successful Kickstarter campaign to further their endeavors. With Amalgamated Dynamics Inc. co-founder Tom Woodruff Jr. taking the director’s chair and putting the weight of his award winning effects company behind the film, Fire City: Interpreter of Signs is on its way to being released in 2015. A post-noir gothic horror, Fire City is propelled as much by its story and characters as it is excellent practical special effects. Michael Hayes and Tom Woodruff Jr. called in to It Came From the Indies where they talk with Martin about the film, its place in an industry dominated by computer graphics and the challenges in creating such an ambitious world on a limited budget.

The guy on the poster definitely has a Peloquin-esque look to him.

Freeman Williams is a performer, writer and b-movie aficionado who once experienced making a low budget horror movie when he wrote what became FOREVER EVIL.After talking to some young talent making low budget genre films in the current cinematic climate and hearing Brad Sykes talk about his experiences in the early 00’s we wanted to get some perspective from someone who made one in those heady days where VHS was king. Freeman speaks both fondly and not so fondly of his experiences in seeing his baby go from typewriter (some sort of bizarre analog device used in the distant past) to screen and what became of it. A great chat with a great gentleman, enjoy!

I was trying to text from the train last night but the wifi was acting up. ANYWAY-+Martin Leggett and I went to the  Bob's Burger's Live at the Tower Theater last night. I'm still a newbie to BB, Martin LOVES H. Jon Benjamin and Loren Bouchard (BIG Home Movies fan too) so I knew he'd want to see it. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so much fun!
The cast each did their stand up-it was weird to hear Dan Mintz because he really does talk like Tina! John Roberts was great but Kristen Schaal was hilarious! Eugene Mirman was good too but H. Jon seemed uncomfortable (people kept shouting things at him too) They showed a few clips from upcoming BB episodes then did a table read of a couple of scenes from an upcoming show. They did a Q & A with pre-written questions and then some guy came on stage to propose to his gf.  She cried and they got hugged by the cast. It was a great show and like I did manage to post last night, if the show comes to your city, I'd definitely recommend it!

Those kids were so excited like they found a note from Mickey Mouse! If I'd found something from Slender Man, I don't think I'd be jumping up and down like I won a prize.
