This is what it's all about." —PattiSue Plumer I pulled it off! I actually BQ’d today at the Tunnel Light Marathon with a time of 3:43:16. It probably won’t get me to Boston but I’m just happy I qualified. I really enjoyed this course even though it poured rain part of it. It’s a beautiful trail and the gradual downhill helped lots. 5 miles today! It was a nice cool morning. A few more days and I’m off to Seattle where it will be cooler and most likely wet. Hoping for good racing weather on Sunday! https://buff.ly/2NBQWT0

7.5 miles this morning! Training called for: 2 miles easy 4 miles- 8:35-40 2 miles easy with some strides in the 4 mile section- around 15-20 seconds, 75-90%. The 4 mile paces ended up being (8:29,8:28,8:22, and 8:23)! The last two were faster since those were the miles I did the strides in. I felt ok running the paces but hard to believe that I hope to run that the whole marathon! 5 more days until Tunnel Light! https://buff.ly/2x6bt7U
