This group does not even deserve one star!! I had two cases with this group of incompetent people. I hired David Goldman upon being new to the Sarasota area. I had 2 crashes within 2 years and SGBW had both cases for 4 years and never settled anything. The office staff was rude and pretty much nasty when I would call for updates on my cases. I was kept in the dark as to what was going on and never got anything settled. I fired this group and went to Luhrsen Law Group...who settled both cases for full amount in 6 months. Do not hire anyone from this group. And SGBW do not respond to my post. You know I was a client and you did nothing but waste my time and almost cost me my job by not getting me help!

We regret that you had a negative experience with our firm. We always try to be polite and prompt in returning all phone calls and correspondence. Sometimes it does take time for cases to be litigated to their conclusion. No matter what problems arise, we will always have an experienced attorney address all issues in a professional manner. Nevertheless, we recognize that you cannot make everyone happy all of the time, but are glad that this person’s case was ultimately resolved to their satisfaction.

This experience was a first for me and went something like this. QUICK, PAINLESS, DIRECT to the POINT!!! My thoughts and views were executed to a T. I was NEVER pushed or forced to do something I did not want to do. All available options were outlined and described in full. If I ever need help with a situation again, it will be this firm. Great experience, very professional and friendly

We had an elderly Aunt who had a debilitating accident. I tried contacting a few attorneys, locally, who would not accept her case, due to her age and circumstances of her fall. Mr. Shapiro was recommended to us, even though his practice was in Florida. He went to work for her cause, spending numerous hours negotiating a settlement and successfully settled the case. He was willing to go to trial. We were more than satisfied with the professionalism, dogmatic approach and sensitivity he displayed. He went above and beyond. I, and my entire family, would highly recommend him to anyone who requires an outstanding, professional attorney. Bob Greeley Retired NYPD, Real Property Administrator, Author

David Shapiro has represented me in a civil case. Throughout the case David Shapiro was extremely professional. His knowledge of the law is superb. He handled my case in a timely matter and at all times I felt he was in control of the situation. I could not have gotten better representation. He definitely cared about me and wanted the best outcome for me. He is one of the finest attorneys in Sarasota. His credentials bear this out and apposing attorneys hold him in high regard. I cannot say enough good things about David Shapiro and hopefully I will not need an attorney any time soon but would definitely only use him

We have used this firm on a few occasions. The attorneys are responsive and always call back in a timely manner when a message is left. All matters were handled professionally and promptly. Their expertise has made them a resource when legal council is needed. David Shapiro has handled most of our work and his knowledge of the law is impressive and has always handled our cases to our satisfaction.

I was involved in two separate car accidents in two years' time, each caused by an at-fault driver. David Shapiro represented my interests each time. I found David and his team to be extremely responsive, knowledgeable and compassionate. His ability to navigate through the process and his prowess in negotiating with the insurance companies made for a timely and very satisfactory result for me. I never felt like just a number, and I know that David and his staff really cared about my medical care and recovery. I hope to never again be a victim in a car accident, but I would not hesitate to recommend this Firm to someone in need who wants a proactive, effective and personal approach to their legal representation.

I had a great experience with Bernard Walsh. I am very grateful for all the work he has done. I would highly recommend him to my family & friends, better yet everyone.

When Is The Employer Liable For An Employee’s Car Accident?

There are two ways that an employer could be held liable for an auto accident caused by an employee: negligence and vicarious liability.
Car accidents happen all the time, but what happens when an individual gets into an auto accident while ‘on the job’? While this is more common of a problem for a truck driver or a commercial vehi

The Thoughts and Prayers From All of Us At Shapiro Goldman Babboni & Walsh Are With The Orlando Shooting Victims, Their Families and Loved Ones.

The tragedy and heart break that follows the aftermath of terror attacks and hate crimes never truly goes away. More and more we, as Americans and members of a free society are enduring the pain and loss that follows terror attacks, hate crimes and mass shootings. From 911, to Sandy Hook to Charleston, South Carolina, California, and now in Orlando such unprecedented attacks are happening with frightening regularity. While our leaders response to these clear and present threats to our safety in a free and open society is far from certain, the resilience and strength of our spirit as Americans is.

In the face of tragedy, we come together with our differences aside in support of our neighbors, friends, loved ones and complete strangers alike. While we will never forget the pain and loss such attacks bring us, we will never give in to terror, to fear, or to succumb to suspicion and hate. America has always been a diverse land with people of all walks of life, and our strength as a nation comes from the opportunity we all share to succeed, and for each and every one of us no matter our race, gender, ethnicity, religious belief or sexual orientation to pursue life, liberty and happiness.

Orlando was not the first such attack and sadly it is not likely to be the last. Now more than ever it is important that we stand strong in the face of terror and hold true to the principles this great country was founded on.

WE WANT YOU TO BE AWARE: Hot Cars Kill Kids!!!
Heatstroke is one of the leading causes of death among children. Unfortunately, even great parents can forget a child in the back seat. Other risk factors include caregivers who aren’t used to driving kids or whose routine suddenly changes.
Whether you’re a parent, caregiver or bystander of a child left in a car, it’s vitally important to understand children are more vulnerable to heatstroke than adults.

it is estimated that half of all accidents and fatalities that occur in the water are due to alcohol. Drinking while on the water can also greatly increase the risk of dehydration especially when combined with sun exposure, boat vibrations, and constant motion. That aside, alcohol impairs a boater’s vision, balance, decision making skills and reaction time.
With more Floridians heading to the water for summer fun and some relief from the heat, it is important for boaters to be aware of the dangers of drinking alcohol on the boat. In fact, it is estima
