This group does not even deserve one star!! I had two cases with this group of incompetent people. I hired David Goldman upon being new to the Sarasota area. I had 2 crashes within 2 years and SGBW had both cases for 4 years and never settled anything. The office staff was rude and pretty much nasty when I would call for updates on my cases. I was kept in the dark as to what was going on and never got anything settled. I fired this group and went to Luhrsen Law Group...who settled both cases for full amount in 6 months. Do not hire anyone from this group. And SGBW do not respond to my post. You know I was a client and you did nothing but waste my time and almost cost me my job by not getting me help!

We regret that you had a negative experience with our firm. We always try to be polite and prompt in returning all phone calls and correspondence. Sometimes it does take time for cases to be litigated to their conclusion. No matter what problems arise, we will always have an experienced attorney address all issues in a professional manner. Nevertheless, we recognize that you cannot make everyone happy all of the time, but are glad that this person’s case was ultimately resolved to their satisfaction.

David Shapiro has represented me in a civil case. Throughout the case David Shapiro was extremely professional. His knowledge of the law is superb. He handled my case in a timely matter and at all times I felt he was in control of the situation. I could not have gotten better representation. He definitely cared about me and wanted the best outcome for me. He is one of the finest attorneys in Sarasota. His credentials bear this out and apposing attorneys hold him in high regard. I cannot say enough good things about David Shapiro and hopefully I will not need an attorney any time soon but would definitely only use him

We had an elderly Aunt who had a debilitating accident. I tried contacting a few attorneys, locally, who would not accept her case, due to her age and circumstances of her fall. Mr. Shapiro was recommended to us, even though his practice was in Florida. He went to work for her cause, spending numerous hours negotiating a settlement and successfully settled the case. He was willing to go to trial. We were more than satisfied with the professionalism, dogmatic approach and sensitivity he displayed. He went above and beyond. I, and my entire family, would highly recommend him to anyone who requires an outstanding, professional attorney. Bob Greeley Retired NYPD, Real Property Administrator, Author

This experience was a first for me and went something like this. QUICK, PAINLESS, DIRECT to the POINT!!! My thoughts and views were executed to a T. I was NEVER pushed or forced to do something I did not want to do. All available options were outlined and described in full. If I ever need help with a situation again, it will be this firm. Great experience, very professional and friendly

We have used this firm on a few occasions. The attorneys are responsive and always call back in a timely manner when a message is left. All matters were handled professionally and promptly. Their expertise has made them a resource when legal council is needed. David Shapiro has handled most of our work and his knowledge of the law is impressive and has always handled our cases to our satisfaction.

I was involved in two separate car accidents in two years' time, each caused by an at-fault driver. David Shapiro represented my interests each time. I found David and his team to be extremely responsive, knowledgeable and compassionate. His ability to navigate through the process and his prowess in negotiating with the insurance companies made for a timely and very satisfactory result for me. I never felt like just a number, and I know that David and his staff really cared about my medical care and recovery. I hope to never again be a victim in a car accident, but I would not hesitate to recommend this Firm to someone in need who wants a proactive, effective and personal approach to their legal representation.

Some people will fly their drones low for fun, or for jokes or mischievous purposes, such as children dive bombing their drones like toys, or as pranks in other people’s yards. Still others may use drones for more disturbing purposes, such as to film other people either for their own private interests or professional investigation purposes.
It feels like science fiction, but the days when miniature flying vehicles armed with cameras could swoop down from the sky and hover in your backyard, armed with a camera and filming your daily activ

If you live in a condo complex, apartment building or rent a home or other property where a landlord is expected to maintain the grounds and the building, mold is not just your problem, it’s the landlord’s.
When people think about injuries and lawsuits, mold is not generally a topic that comes up on the list. Of course, when most people think or talk about mold, they’re usually referring the kind that

Are Roundabouts Safer?

With the plans to implement roundabouts in Fort Myers, FL many wonder if roundabouts are actually safer than traditional, four-way intersections. The answer is they are safer. In fact studies have shown that roundabouts are a lot safer than traditional intersections
On April 6th, 2015, Alternate Street Design of Orange Park made a proposal to Lee County Metropolitan Planning Committee in Fort Myers, Florida to install 18 new roundabouts. The planning committee ha

WE WANT YOU TO BE CAREFUL: Cinco de Mayo is a big night out for many, but it is also a very dangerous night out because of alcohol-impaired drivers. So remember, designate a sober driver in advance before all the festivities begin!

One of the most interesting things about how business is developing in the 21st century is the rise of the new “sharing economy” where people convert their property into temporary money-making operations. Air BnB is an example of people doing this with their homes, using them as informal “hotels” for travelers to make a little money on the side, and Uber or Lyft are the automobile version, where drivers make some extra money by using their own car as an unofficial taxi to ferry passengers to their destinations.

When these kinds of injuries occur, you don’t have to simply accept your misfortune and move on. If someone is directly responsible for your injury, a personal injury lawyer can—and will—take your case, so you can get both the justice and the financial compensation that you are owed
If an accident occurs and you sustain an injury, that’s already a tragedy in and of itself. But if that injury comes as the direct result of another’s actions, then not only is that accident tragi

There are severe penalties in the state of Florida for hit and run accidents. If there has been any injury or death, there is an automatic felony charge, even when the driver is not at fault. In cases of property damage, there is a misdemeanor charge. So with such strong penalties, it is hard to see why anyone would commit a hit and run.
Hit and run accidents are very common in Florida. In 2015, there were 92,000 hit and run accidents causing 19,000 injuries and 208 fatalities. Even with strict penalties including felony charges and a
