Using Laptop Skins for Business?
I was playing around with designing a laptop skin, over the weekend, for my next speaking gig in NYC.

What are your thoughts on using laptop skins to drive brand/business awareness? Tacky or cool?

Love, love, love this!

Imitation is the highest form of pissing me off. Quit stealing my content and violating my copyright. ~Jen T. Verbumessor

I am SUPER sick of people stealing my blog content, taking my blog post titles, using my image style etc. Don't go on my blog and copy my text for your blog. It is not flattery or borrowing. It's my intellectual property.

I spend a lot of time helping other people learn social media and how to do things online. My goal is to give you the skills to do these things yourself, not cut and paste my things.

You have been warned, I will be calling you out on it. STOP IT.

I met the cook and his parents at a local farmer's market. They were so nice that I really thought my family would have a great time at the restaurant. However, it was a horrible experience. When you first walk in, you don't know where the hostess stand is. After we were seated a while, the waiter came up and mumbled off a HUGE list of specials. The list was so long that, and he was really talking at the floor, so we let him continue without interrupting. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and my husband the Milwaukee pizza. My ravioli was drowned in very oily butter. Now, I was raised in a very traditional New York Italian family that made these types of recipes and the butter sauce should have been thicker and creamier. It was like someone mistook my ravioli for lobster. My husband's pizza was flavorless - except the really spicy sausage. Even though the family is nice, the decor, waitstaff, and food are horrible. Sorry to say... you're better off going to Olive Garden.

If you want the best frozen custard then Kopps is the place to be! They are quick, friendly and have a great outdoor seating area with a waterfall. You can even bring your (well-behaved) dog to sit outside with you while you share your custard (although, you may not want to).

This is a great Barnes and Noble for reading while drinking a latte but don't bring your laptop if you need an outlet. Pros: The people are friendly and welcoming. The location is clean. Loads of books. Bright and open. Cafe has great food and A+ drinks! Ample seating in and out of the cafe. Cons: No outlets available in the cafe for laptops to be plugged in (and no plans for it in the future). Can get loud at times.

Not exactly a New York bagel but pretty close to it. Stopped in early on a Sunday and they were quick to help and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Great for quick friendly service and large, fresh, warm, tasty bagels!
