This week on the blog is a long profile about a social enterprise rethinking the role between tourists and Massai. Exploitation of the tribes is rampant in East Africa; the Maji Moto Cultural Camp organization uses funds from the camp to support a wide range of locally run projects.

This includes a Widow's Village, primary school, and a girls dormitory for those who have escaped female genital mutilation and early marriage. It's an inspiring project rethinking the role responsible tourism plays in development.
