A goat traffic jam on the Loita Plains! Our group walked with our Maasai warriors across the the shrubby savannah. We encountered a handful of children tending their herds of goats. In this case we squeezed between them and once beyond the goats, it was quiet and breezy. Our guides at Maji Moto spent the week leading us around the hills outside of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. They taught us how to identify medicinal plants. They sang songs around the campfire. It was a week of friendly conversations and so much learning. This week on the blog is a long profile on this wonderful social enterprise.
