Lived there for some time. I dont like how you can't have clients relax in the lobby. I had contacts meet me and they were asked to leave the couch area if they were not buying food. Couldn't wait for me to get downstairs in time. That is very lame. MY impression is they hired "Asian women" to give it a faux feel that was also lame. Besides that its ok. People that give it more than 3 just have not lived in expensive locations. That is my honest opinion.

If you are walking by the place make sure you wear a helmet. You never know when the next balcony glass is going to fall on you. If you are old rich man. Pefect place for you to meet young women. If you are a young decent looking girl looking for sugar dady. This is a right spot. The place is nice and service is great.

This hotel is the most amazing hotel I have ever been to and I've stayed at many five-star properties. The service is stellar, the team is extraordinarily friendly -without being intrusive- and they provide every luxury you could think of. My husband, son and I stayed in a deluxe 1 bedroom suite for 7 weeks and this place was truly a home away from home. We are so sad to leave this property behind and hope that life brings us back soon. Thank you Shangri-La for exceeding our expectations for 50+ days in a row!

The City of Toronto has ordered the Shangri-La hotel and condo building to take immediate action to prevent injuries from falling glass. The city issued the “order to remedy unsafe building” to the developer of the 65-floor Shangri-La tower on Aug. 5, demanding they install overhead falling-glass protection on the sidewalks around the downtown property. The city of Toronto has ordered the developer, Westbank Corp., to prevent the building’s condo owners and hotel guests from using their tempered-glass balconies until they can be wrapped in a protective netting to prevent them from falling. The order comes after a pane of patio glass shattered and fell from the 51st floor of the luxury hotel and condo tower on July 17 2014. THIS IS THE 5th INCIDENT OF FALLING GLASS SINCE THE HOTEL WENT UP in 2011.

The bosk restaurant is one of the best restaurant I have tried in Toronto. The food is amazing. I highly recommend it. The service was excellent as well. I recommend to try a cheese menu. They have unpasteurized cheeses. We did our reservation online.

This is a staple for class, ambiance & prestige in Toronto. The rooms are exceptionally nice & lounge has a vivacious atmosphere.
