Graphine!  Again...  The new "supermaterial."

World’s first graphene speaker already superior to Sennheiser MX400
Graphene is frankly just showing off at this point. Not content with breezing in and smashing records in solar efficiency, kicking the butt of lithium-ion batteries, being the strongest known material in the Universe, being 1,000 times more light-sensitive than any known camera sensor and a thousand other achievements, now this smug supermaterial is having a crack at audio. How’s it going? Well, with basically zero acoustic development, a graphene loudspeaker is already boasting a better frequency response curve than a set of Sennheiser MX-400s.

Cool progress! Note: mice were genetically modified to promote rapid protein production - so, this is just another good step in the direction of better life as we age...

Scientists used a chemical trigger to coax an elderly mouse's organ into a regenerative mode. After the treatment, the organ looked as good as new. This is a first for scientists: http://bit.ly/1kLM99n

WAKE UP! ARIZONA!  Tell  Governor Jan Brewer to veto the anti-homosexual law... Otherwise, it would seem Arizona desires to be similar to a third world country...  Like Uganda!

If it is signed the Feds should cut all aid to Arizona - so says Senator Kerry:

"U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday’s signing of the bill by President Yoweri Museveni marked “a tragic day for Uganda and for all who care about the cause of human rights” and warned that Washington could cut aid to the government of the East African nation."

Cool!  I can easily imagine an audience in the center and standing around Stonehenge while a person or two stands within each opening and bangs to the left or right to create different harmonies...  Interesting concept....

If Stonehenge Is Actually a Giant Instrument, What Does It Sound Like? Think prehistoric glockenspiel. http://gizmodo.com/is-stonehenge-actually-a-giant-musical-instrument-1539942048/

Story
Introduction
Western, Android Geek, Biker.  Lived mostly in Texas, Mississippi, and Florida. Love hot weather - I don't like the cold except when I want to snow ski.  I believe in compassion, acceptance, and being non-judgmental.  The golden rule is paramount.

A little more:
I went to college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and my major was a 146 credit hour course in Aeronautical Studies - a dual core major covering the Airframe/Powerplant Maintenance of all types of aircraft and all of the ground courses for the FAA licensing up to multi-engine commercial aircraft with a minor in Business.  I worked at a Cinnabon Bakery for 4 yrs as the night/assistant manager while in college and I was a Combat Engineer in the Army Reserve for 10 yrs.

Work history includes but isn't limited to the following:  Lab Tech for an Optometrist, concrete truck driver,  Boot salesman, private security, window washer, dispatched food delivery driver (not pizza - we were radio dispatched to restaurants), Telephone sales.... That is all I can quickly remember....

I have taken college classes on Solar Thermal Installation and Photovoltaic Panel Installation, horseback riding, International Studies: China, and Foil fencing classes

Self taught computer/cell phone geek and ride a 2003 H-D Low Rider with an aftermarket Wide Glide style triple tree.

Oh, and I have worked in LE for the last 19 years.

Hmm... Is it obvious that I have insatiable curiosity and enjoy learning "how things work?"  I'll be trying to figure that out until my last breath!

I have eaten there twice, gone there for just desert several times, and plan to return. The food is excellent. A little on the pricey side - but, it is an upscale place. The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend the Tres Leches cake for dessert! I have gone there just to eat it. The cake isn't dense like some places. It is very saturated all the way through and isn't too sweet. It has a very nice fruit garnish/topping that is just the right amount, doesn't overwhelm the cake, and just perfect. I have seen people eat it like they are filling a trough and just don't get it. It is the only Tres Leches cake I have enjoyed and I take my time when I eat it...

I ordered a burger to be configured differently than what was on the menu. The burger was very tasty - not a thin patty like many other joints - but, not so thick it would take too long to cook. They got my order correct which was awesome. I ordered sweet potato fries (my favorite) which were done very well. I loved the food. Having worked in the restaurant business I could tell the staff was new to the job. But, I went based upon a recommendation and I would return again. One of the tastier burgers around this area.

I have been twice and plan to go again. I love taking a date or meeting a friend to share dishes. The portions are smaller - but, I normally order 2-4 different dishes for each person and we mix/match. Service was fine. The food was excellent.

The appetizer was tasty and the lasagna was better than most places (I'm really picky about my lasagna). I, and my son, liked that we received an extra portion of a pasta dish to take home. I ordered one with chicken sausage and peppers - it was very good the next day as lunch. The decor was awesome! We also really appreciated that the temperature didn't make us want to get a jacket or blanket from the truck! The servers were prompt and didn't keep bugging us like so many places do these days. Excellent service. Finally, the silverware was *actually* on the table instead of rolled up in a napkin! I'm going back tonight for myself and will try a desert.

Nice Ma/Pa owned/operated business. Both are very nice. I get a simple haircut (so, can't report on more complicated styles). But, always an excellent job at a MORE than excellent/great price.
