The wife and I each picked up +T-Mobile
HTC One's (m7tmo) the day they released originally. Evidently we were supposed to check serial numbers to ensure that we each received the proper device. I'm not entirely positive that I know where we would have done that, but whatever.
Fast forward to the present and the wife's phone has sucky speakers and her camera has developed the distinctive purple haze that is the HTC One m7. As we both have original Jump coverage she goes on to get the Note 3.
Oh, but the phone she used for a year was supposed to be mine evidently. So, "my" phone, which has no problems, running a custom ROM and set up perfectly, has to be swapped out for the wife's old device. Or, I lose my Jump eligibility.
Spectacular. I don't really see why it matters, nor can I not understand how their system couldn't notice that the wife's Sim card was connected with the other imei and that we had inadvertently swapped.
I wasn't ready for a new device, but I guess I'm being forced into pre ordering the HTC One m8.
