This was taken just before we had to pay Emmie off to sit with the Easter Bunny.

You should try Bunkr the next time you need to put together a presentation. It will make you think twice before using PowerPoint.

Questions  -

Need some help on creating Google Analytics accounts. Our company has recently moved to using Google Apps for email. Prior to this, I was able to create forwarding email addresses to create new Google Analytics accounts for customers and then add them to the appropriate team members access.

Now when I try to create the Google account with the forwarding address in Analytics, it says that an account has already been created and to log in or request my password. The problem is that since this is a forwarding email set up as a Group, there is no password associated.

I would appreciate your help.

You can't use an Adress for a Group and a google account.
So the only Way is to use another Adress for the google account.

We are having issues with cross domain tracking for several of our travel clients. What is the best way to determine if cross domain tracking is implemented properly on the website that we don't have control over? We are being told that everything is set up properly, but we continue to have self referral issues. Thanks in advance

You can test this yourself using some plugins/extensions in your browser to see how data is being sent to GA. For example, you can use the GA Debug Chrome extension and the built in developer tools' console panel to see the hits being sent. Look for the Visitor ID and make sure it matches across both domains. Also, check the Session Count - make sure it doesn't reset back to 1.

You could also check the cookies for both domains to make sure they match (utma cookie for classic Analytics, ga cookie for universal).

Also, I should have mentioned this first - when you go from domainA to domainB, look at the URL in the address bar of your browser - you should see your cookie info being appended as query parameters. If you don't see that, it means the link/form that sent you to the 2nd domain wasn't tagged properly.

You'll also want to check the domains both have
_gaq.push('_setAllowLinker', true) if you're using classic GA,

or the field object {'allowLinker': true} for universal i.e.
ga('create', 'UA-XXXXX-Y', 'auto', {'allowLinker', true});

That should give you a few ideas to get started. Remember that self referrals won't disappear immediately. If someone is cookied as a self referral and they keep coming back to the site directly, they'll continue showing up as a self referral (direct traffic never overwrites existing referral information).

Good luck!

One of the fastest emissions tests I have ever done. They are efficient and the facility was clean. The one star deduction was because the service man was so busy asking about where we had lived in California that he printed off the wrong paperwork and my wife had to go back inside to get the correct paperwork.
