Dear Google - please actually display my app in your App store. We have 15 5 star votes and over 4,000 users...but I can't find it displayed in the Chrome web store. Meanwhile, thousands of apps with 0 users are listed.... How does this make sense!?!??!

What work remains could be done by Automation you say? Where do you think that technology came from? It came from people who are supported by the farmers working on their farms, and the truck drivers transporting the food, and the engineers who built and maintain the water pipelines and filtering systems, and the teachers who teach the knowledge gained by the others who worked on these problems in the past, leading to them making breakthrough which then need to be converted in to technology, which requires money to get the materials and energy, all of which is provided by others working to provide them, all controlled by a bureaucratic system full of workers to make sure no one is ripped off, or cheated or murdered while carrying out their jobs.

This idealistic world view is not even close to possible in reality.

He says some weird things but I agree with most of it and most I agree with the wasted work in some obsolete industries. Banks print the money so for example it is them who hire the most mathematicians and physicists that could otherwise work on meaningful stuff. Most programmers develop the 100th version of something that was already there before and that thousands of other programmers currently also work on and with a liberation from the necessity to work through for example a basic income guarantee they could be freed to work on more cooperative projects, freeing a lot of time for each of them. Physical work will be replaced by robots on a huge scale as it happened in the past. Why is planned obsolescence the common denominator in our economy? There are so sick incentives in place and to not destroy our planet we have to adjust these incentives.

What a lying arsehole. "All the top geneticists are saying it" Just outright lying. Not even close to true, and he spouts it as if he has any idea.

A rant about the failure of Journalism, and how rbutr is desperately needed to save us all from our media.
