It was 34 years ago today on January 30th in 1982 a small group of people held an initial meeting to organize what became Autodesk. On April 26th 1982 Autodesk was incorporated in the State of California. Since that date there have been hundreds of products, thousands of employees, millions of customers, and billions of customer created designs, creations and projects. Cheers, Shaan

If you are getting crashes or visual display issues in your Autodesk software like AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, 3ds Max, Maya etc. it could very well be your graphics driver. After years of reading solutions and reports of problems, the top issue is graphics drivers and the second being you have not installed the latest product updates. In fact recently I was experiencing issues myself after a system update of my laptop which affected my software an...

This is such a great story and well worth spreading far and wide. I remember speaking with one of the volunteers working on this and just humbled by the use of simple 3D printed parts making a difference and creating so many smiles. Autodesk and Bay Area non-profit KIDmob held a 5 day event Superhero Cyborgs workshop where children with upper limb disabilities gathered at Autodesk’s Pier 9 along with professional designers and engineers to re-ima...

This 5.25” floppy represents the very early days of AutoCAD where the introduction of the 2 year old AutoCAD version 2 was being exhibited at the FALL COMDEX 1984. AutoCAD 86 was first shown publicly at COMDEX 1982. It is amazing how far technology and Autodesk has come and transformed over the past 30 plus years. Read more from Autodesk Founder John Walker about COMDEX 1984 and some of the photos.

They transferred my insurance policy but failed to properly transfer it and the electronic billing. They wouldn't take responsibility for their mistake and when politely discussing the issue Brandy put the blame on me to not watch for their mistake in billing. They cost me money, time, and left me not covered for sometime while I was not aware. Stay away from them and their lack of owning up to their mistake.
