+Peter Meyers of +Moz joined us on the #VisionaryMarketing  podcast to discuss game changers in Google search including recommended home services, snack packs vs local stacks, and search engine ranking factors.

It would mean the world if you gave it a listen and shared in your social channels.
Listen as Dr Pete of Moz joins us to talk recommended home services, snack packs, local stacks, and Google search engine ranking factors in this podcast.

"US Companies Suck at Social"
That might seem harsh, but here's flat-out proof a small business with heart can effortlessly beat most massive corporates in social media. Every time.
There's a reason some people prefer to call it "customer care" rather than "customer service". But when you actually do care, and understand what your customers want and need, your social channels can become real drivers for your business.
+American Express  may be at the top of the Big Brand tree, but the inevitable demands of scale make that a tough place to be.  If you're in charge of social at a big corporate, take a lesson from +Lockhart Smokehouse BBQ in #Plano Texas.
Your customers will thank you, and so will your bottom line!

7 social media dos and don'ts for business. My fave is "Don’t tell a customer to call or email you, if that is needed be proactive and call or email them."
Local BBQ business with limited resources schools American Express in the do’s and don’ts of social media, and what you can learn from them too.

Has Your Site Been Misclassified By Google's Hacked Page Classifier?

John Mueller shared a feedback form where you can let them know about misclassifications.

We're slowly rolling out a new hacked page classifier and noticed a small number of misclassifications. We're sorry for any trouble this may have caused -- we are working on addressing the issues. If you feel this incorrectly affects your site, you can give us feedback at https://docs.google.com/a/google.com/forms/d/11ja4RG490nWbbcHdn-g22l5kBsrRJjn3mbHzjcnHcYY/viewform

Feedback on "may be hacked" classificationIf pages from your site are currently shown with a "may be hacked" label in Google web-search, and you are certain that this is not the case, please give us more details below. For more information on dealing with hacked sites, please see https://www.google.com/webmasters/hacked . If you're not sure about hacked content on your site, or have trouble cleaning it up and securing it properly, please post in our webmaster help forums at https://sup...

Are You Stuck In Google's Penalty Box?
Could Your Webmaster Tools Account be keeping you there?

Since the Google Webmaster Tools team changed the way we see site data in the tool last year, a lot of people have been unknowingly separated from their site data.

While the reason for the change was ostensibly to make things better for webmasters, there a those who have been negatively affected because they remain unaware of the change, or don't understand it's implications.

For those dealing with manual actions and algorithmic adjustments, this can lead to wrong turns and wasted effort. For others it can mean that problems go unseen when they could otherwise be identified and resolved. This is especially the case for webmasters whose sites are troubled by technical issues which are confined to particular subdomains or protocols.

Have you set up profiles for all the relevant variants of your site?
Have you  found hidden site issues amongst variant profiles?
Do you like current model for reporting in Webmaster Tools?
