No CyanogenMod on Samsung Galaxy S4 means that I will certainly not even give it a second look, let alone purchase it.

In interest of full disclosure, I was not interested to begin with, due to HTC and LG producing phones with higher build quality.

+CyanogenMod (a custom implemen+Androidf +Android ) for almost 2 years from version 7 to now version 10:

- Fast
- Efficient battery consumption
- Highly intuitive configuration settings
- Clean design without any clutter
- Consistent user experience across multiple devices
- Serious, practical yet simple improvements to base Android

That is why no matter how compelling the specifications of a device ar+Nexusess it's a Google +Nexus , I will only purchase it if I can replace its ROM with CyanogenMod.

+SwiftKey : Well-designed Android keyboard with highly accurate corrections and next-word predictions even for rapid thumb-typists.

For about the past two years, this is one of the first apps that we install on any new or reset Android device we use, from tablet to phone.

It's well worth the $3.99; but there is a FREE version as well.

I thought that since Apple invented users, squares, motion--and purportedly "life" itself--it would have definitely come up with this highly desirable and useful functionality first.

You mean what they charge the stores? I would imagine it is some kind of revenue-share.

+CyanogenMod 10 File Manager: after years of wondering why there was no cleanly-designed and elegant file manager for Android, the new one built into CM10 nightly releases as of 11/01/2012 has surpassed my expectations. It is simply beyond what I had hoped for during the past two years: extremely well-designed and simple-looking while as powerful as ES, File Expert and others.

Very well done! This is NOTHING short of highly polished.

+SwiftKey Healthcare is a specialized version of the highly useful SwiftKey Android keyboard that is tailored to healthcare professionals with powerful corrections and next-word suggestions of clinical terms, long drug names, diseases, symptoms and more.

Watch the video for a quick demonstration.

And it's not a myth either. I've used the regular SwiftKey on several Android phones and tablets (maybe over 20 different ones) over the past few years; it is just so much more efficient than using any other keyboard. I sometimes wish my Notebook or Google TV physical keyboards would have the same features.

Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) new one-touch expandable notification center is an unbelievably helpful and amazing improvement to an already immensely useful functionality. Just click an expandable notification and pull down or up to expand or contract it; continue dragging your finger to apply the same action to other adjacent notifications.
