Dangling feet

The sun will come out tomorrow, you can bet your bottom dollar on it.
Being part of the change As the sun rises through the fog and mist I get caught up thinking about a lot of things. For some reason, this time of year always catches me looking backwards. I think it has a lot to do with all...

My attitude towards the way work and life mingle.
Fishing and writing practically go hand in hand. Learning to freely blend the two I hear a lot of people talk about a work-life balance as though the two are separate entities on opposite ends of a teeter totter. Books, blog...

After 28 strait months of publishing an article each week, it's time for a change. Things are shifting with work, life, and that grey space in between, so I've had to make a difficult decision, and change how often I publish Woodsman Enough. Instead of weekly, I'm going to try monthly and see how that goes. Thank you all for your continued support. There is a fervor of activity happening behind the scenes right now and I can't wait to share some of these new projects with everyone! #writing   #photography
The South Fork of the Flambeau River heaves steam into the cool morning air as it cuts through the woods, twisting and turning its way down to meet the north fork. Time to switch lures When I took up fishing again as an adul...

Challenge yourself
With or without ice I have to admit, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has got me on the fence. When the philanthropic social media explosion rolled to the forefront of my newsfeed, all I thought was ‘Hey, this is annoying and it seems silly and pointless.’ I di...

Ready, set, lake! Newman Lake water levels are higher than they have been in years. That means less beach but more swimming space at the lake of my childhood. Our humid summer days have finally rolled onto the land. Many o...

Story
Tagline
Managing Editor Price County Review & Blogger @WoodsmanEnough / Wisconsin writer, photographer, and folk philosopher; comes with a side order of dry humor. Heh.
Introduction
Tasked with oversight of editorial operations of Price County Review and PriceCountyDaily.com including management and news decisions. The position is responsible for staffing, scheduling editorial calendars, working with community members, and developing a strong community journalism presence.

I am also responsible for writing original content, reporting on issues of interest, reviewing submitted material, correcting, condensing, or adding content to written and multimedia assets before the publication is finalized each week.

I believe it is very important for this position to lead the publication internally by thinking creatively on both editorial projects and regular coverage and externally as an ambassador for the newspaper and company in a positive and professional manor.
