The SHD Board of Directors extended our grant to Ravenswood for two more years at $700,000 per year. The agreement calls for Ravenswood to provide medical, dental and mental health services to more than 1,000 District residents per year.

SHD officially launches 70 Strong!
More than 100 community leaders including County Supervisor Warren Slocum and guests attended the official launch party of the District’s new major initiative: 70 Strong. This effort developed in partnership with Peninsula Family Service will connect older adults with services and activities to keep them vibrant and thriving.
