It's been rare that this page has ventured into the political sphere. However, as teachers, the impact of the conflict in Gaza on children in particular, especially children sheltering in schools, has surely struck a chord.

In this small way, we can let political leaders know that innocent children should not be paying such a high price for this latest outbreak of war.
