Seokchan (Channy) Yun had a long career of web technology and business
especially web standards, open source, e-commerce and digital contents.
He majored in geology in undergraduate, but was interested in world-wide web in early to find academic informations for Geographic Information System in graduate school. His life fell in love web technology and became software engineer from then.
He also had various skill set and developed some of window applications as like Bodyline Manager using Delphi and Windows Media DRM software using Visual Basic. In addition, his master thesis was ArcML application for Geological mapping using ESRI ArcInfo. Business career

business models and technical marketing as CTO in Nine4u from 2000.

After joining Daum in early 2004, he involved to make technical strategy as a staff of corporate
R&D center and designed a career path and educational
programs for over 300 software engineers till 2006. I also
engaged some technical projects including Ajax based Hanmail addressbook in 2005
and Daum Open API platform in 2006.
For needs to communicate with 3rd party developers and companies by Web 2.0 phenomena, his job forwards to technical evangelism to manage Daum open API gateway

He moved Jeju island with his family with Daum's R&D center and have taught web technology and open source software to CE students in Jeju National University since 2007.
In 2009, he entered BikeLab
to study medical informatics in Ph.D course of Seoul National University and returned to Daum again in 2011.

korean l10n module owner to make Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird Korean
