Hey Beta Test Community!

We wanted to use this post to accomplish two things:

A) Test out the communications channel and make sure it works properly.

B) Let you know that we have released a minor update 6.8.12 that will only be available to you. This is a minor update, we just wanted to test to make sure you can access it so there are no problems come September with the Beta release.

Cheers,
Send Anywhere

+ashiq khan Hi, We're sorry for the speed issue. We had to admit that the performance may vary under different network conditions.
We're adding WiFi direct feature(like Shareit) now and it will be soon available. Join our beta testing community for the update news! https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/106630981717030393392/communities/111874900707469485690

Did you know that you can easily select a device connected with a same network from the nearby list?
With #SendAnywhere, you can do this without log in, without cloud storage.

The beta app keeps locking up both my phone and my tablet whenever I use it. I can't do anything else until it finishes downloading. It even sends me to the lock screen on both devices. Sometimes it doesn't even work at all. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon or should I just go back to using the regular version of the app?

Introduction

Send Anywhere is a platform agnostic file sharing service which allows users to easily share digital content peer-to-peer, in real-time, without cloud storage.

Transferring large data across multiple devices is consistently burdensome for the average mobile/computer users. USB drives have limited storage space. Emailing oneself can be tedious and, as shown by the recent security issues with Snapchat and Dropbox, the cloud is not as secure as once thought.

We find the optimal transfer path between devices given network conditions be it through p2p or an optimal relay server.
