In 2014, 1,358 North Carolinians died from drug overdoses. To put that into context, it’s more than the number of North Carolinians who died in automobile accidents. Yesterday, I joined students for a healthy, quality meal at Belmont Central Elementary. I also toured the cafeteria and met with Gaston County Schools officials.
