Adam's Peak pilgrimage season has officially started... For the next five months (until the Wesak Poya full moon in May), pilgrims from four religions - Buddhists, Hindus, Christians and Muslims – scale Sri Lanka's fourth highest mountain in devotion to their faith. During this time of year, the pathway is lit (most time their climb to reach the summit for sunrise) and snacks and drinks stalls line the main route from Dalhousie.
