Sedona Mago Retreat

Walking the Mago Healing Garden in spring, could there be anything more delightful? Letting go of everything is very easy here. It just gives me the feeling of coming home to Mother Earth. Naturally, everything that seemed to matter and made me worry or agonize melts away in an instant, leaving my mind clear and calm.

The fifth chakra is the gate that manages expression and communication.  The true self, located in the fourth chakra (heart chakra), can be expressed when the voice of the true self comes up through the throat and out the mouth in words.

If there's one thing that doesn't change, it is the fact that everything changes. In the Korean tradition of Tao, this is called impermanence.

According to Chun-Bu-Kyung, the oldest text of Korean tradition of Tao, we all come from "One" and return to "One" which has no beginning and no ending.

Very intentional place that has given me space to really connect with myself. Lots of trails and nooks to spend time moving my body and time alone. Very quiet and peaceful. Food is delicious--most of it grown there and locally. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend going and doing the yoga and meditation trainings. The combination of the atmosphere and trainings offered have really changed the quality of my life. Very grateful for this place and everyone's intentional effort and sincerity.

With today's lifestyles, it's hard to be able to relax and do some inner soul searching. This is especially true for us men who are taught to be strong and hide our feelings. Well, I've found this center a perfect place to slow down, relax, and work on finding my real self. 160 acres of high desert beauty awaits you as does very qualified and helpful personnel. You will leave feeling like a new, more content person. Frank H.

I've been to the Sedona Mago Retreat Center many times, and it always feels like I am coming home. It is so beautiful there. From the untouched nature of the surrounding national forest to the sculpted Healing Garden on the grounds, it is truly a work of art. The people there are so warm and friendly. It is a safe, loving haven from the hustle and bustle of ordinary life from which you can pay more attention to the earth and to yourself. It is the perfect place to ground yourself and heal anything you need to. And I love the food!

Over the years, I have returned to Sedona Mago Retreat Center again, and again... to rejuvenate my body and mind, to connect with nature, and to recover my natural senses. It seems like the beauty and serenity of the land itself makes you relax almost immediately, and the staff's genuine care and service lets you focus on what's important to you. I'm a regular visitor to Sedona, and in my opinion, this retreat center is the most genuine. I have 2 places I always visit - Bell Rock, and Sedona Mago Retreat.

When I visited sedona mago retreat I didn't expect eco friedly life style exist in the middle of national forest. They recycle water for plants, use solar lamps and grow organic garden. My favorate place is orgarnic garden tour with grapes, peaches, flowers, vegetables and chickens running around the land. I loved it.

I have been fortunate enough to visit Sedona Mago Retreat Center at least once a year for the past 6 years. . Each visit I am so impressed by the improvements both indoors and outdoors. These improvements never take away from the natural beauty and pure energy of the Retreat Center. January 2009 I plan a week there to restore my body and mind. What a way to begin the New Year by taking care of myself? The staff is committed to our health by exercising our bodies and calming our minds through various methods of yoga, healing martial arts, meditation and brain wave vibration. This along with three very healthy healing meals gives me more energy and detoxes my body.
