CVPR 2015 Workshop on Semantics for Visual Reconstruction, Localization and Mapping

Together with Jose Alvarez (NICTA Australia), David Vazquez (CVC Barcelona), Tomas Pajdla (CTU Prague) and Antonio Lopez (CVC Barcelona), we will be running the 6th international workshop on Computer Vision in Vehicle Technology (CVVT) at CVPR 2015. 

We have a great list of invited speakers that includes:

- Dave Ferguson (Leader of the Machine Learning and Computer Vision Teams for Google’s Self-Driving Car Project)
- Rafael Garcia (Head of the Computer Vision and Robotics Group at University of Girona - Spain)
- Larry Matthies (Supervisor of the Computer Vision Group at JPL NASA)
- Tomas Pajdla (Assistant Professor at Czech Technical University in Prague - Czech Republic)
- Marc Pollefeys (Head of the Computer Vision and Geometry Lab at ETH Zurich - Switzerland).

Submission deadline is March 13th.

For those of you who are planning to attend ECCV in Zurich this week, I would like to draw your attention on the workshop "W02 – Computer Vision in Vehicle Technology with Special Session on Micro Aerial Vehicles" which I am co-organizing with David Geronimo and Friedrich Fraundorfer. The workshop will take place a ETH this Saurday. The afternoon session is dedicated to vision-controlled drones and will feature live demos including one from my lab on Live Dense 3D Reconstruction, using SVO and REMODE.
