Still hunting for those secret leads to the Icarus Odessa Terminal that could get you the opportunity to buy a ticket to Google I/O? A lot of them have already been found, but rumor has it, there are still some active codes left.
Where to begin? Be creative. The first links (always as goo.gl shortlinks) turned up in the Developer Documentation of Analytics and were easy to find by using a crawler such as import.io, some other links have been embedded into images appearing all over developer.google.com (easy to crawl, but without a bit of CV you'd still need to manually review each match). Last but not least, the greatest amount of codes was hidden in annotations on videos by GoogleDevelopers and AndroidDevelopers. Those could be crawled and fetched with the YT API.
So what's left? There could be a lot of places with unused codes. What about the sourcecode? Be creative.
Good luck hunting.
But hey, maybe that's just my european sense of humor ;)
Contrary to most other newscasts they decided to build real video walls instead of just moving into a green-boxed virtual set.
Yay for choice and seamless upgradeability!
Let's give the Google Camera a try (even though I somehow dislike the design of the snap button)
Sleek Design. The 100% viewfinder gets out of your way while capturing the maximum resolution of the scene (no dropped pixels). And the extra large capture button is easy to press so your eyes never lose sight of the subject.
Lens Blur. Emphasize the subject while blurring the background for an SLR-like shot with shallow depth-of-field (or bokeh). You can even change the subject in focus after taking the shot.
Improved Panorama. New higher resolution panoramas capture the full width and detail of a scene.
Photo Sphere. Immersive 360 degree photo spheres let you look up, down and all around...now at up to 50 megapixels! For the first time available on non-Nexus devices.
Google Camera is now available on the Play store (http://goo.gl/llsZjx), and works on all phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat. We’re just getting started, and in the months ahead we'll make Google Camera available to more devices, helping make photography easier, faster and more fun.
