I hope that this isn't a pre-cursor to the always-on requirement for the next XBOX.
By incredibly lazy, the pastebin link is what I have at the moment. Basically it just a flocking algorithm with a bit of randomization thrown in so that they don't line up in a big single file line for the player to shoot.
I use spawn points in my level to generate the new enemies but it's not really working since I actually started building out the level as walls tend to get in the way of walking zombies; funny that.
I was thinking to just spawn the zombies at a recent location that the player was & then clean up zombies who haven't moved much of a distance in 10 seconds. But I'm not sure how to handle if the player is walking backwards - because I don't want to spawn the zombies in the players view.
Any other suggestions appreciated.
