There are two major factors to consider when assessing your website design. The first, and most important factor, is if the site is designed to be mobile friendly. Since most people tend to use mobile devices for browsing the web, this is a must. If your site doesn’t work on mobile devices, users will move on to one that has a mobile friendly website design.

Other major factor is the load speed of your site: If a user has to wait a long time for your site to load, that user will simply move on to another website. Google tracks this and ranks sites that load faster higher than those that load slower, so make sure that you’ve done everything you can to optimize the load speed of your site.

All B2B sites have some standard on their websites. You will have a landing or home page. You will have a products/services page, an about us page, and a contact information page. You may have individual product or classifications of product pages that provide descriptions, specifications and pricing. Other pages that you might want on your site is a hiring page for posting open jobs, a frequently asked question page (FAQ), a blog page, and much more. Again, look at your competitors. What pages are on their sites? Does it make sense for you to include the same kind of content on your page?

Using a Website Graphic Designer Makes Navigation Easier for Users

Because an excellent website graphic designer has a lot of experience designing sites for small businesses, they usually have some experience with user interface design. Some website graphic designers have completed training dedicated to user interfaces for websites, and know a lot about human behavior and how people interact with websites. This includes how to make it easy for users to navigate through your site to find the information that they are looking for, as well as subtle design features that encourage users to click on certain buttons or land on specific pages of your site. A well-designed website keeps your bounce rates low and keeps potential customers on the site longer, which often translates to more sales.

Direct traffic is the simplest type of traffic to understand. Direct traffic is from users that come directly to your site, not through finding the site in search engine results, but rather by the user entering your site’s URL directly into a browser, clicking on a bookmark–because they have been there before and found your site good enough to bookmark–or clicking on a link in an email signature or text message (for example).
