Hello again,

there are a couple of really nice videos provided by IBN that show how to use SeaPal that I would like to share.

Here is one on how to install and set up SeaPal.

Hello Sailors,

well in time for the new season, we have released a polished new version of SeaPal to the app stores of Apple and Google.

SeaPal now runs with full features on both platforms, Android and iOS.

And information like your marks, routes and logbook entries synchronize very nicely between your devices, even across platforms. For this you need to register with an Account, which we now strongly recommend.

An account on SeaPal will back up all your data, synchronize between devices and make purchases available across versions and devices, even after complete de- and re-installations.

My personal favorite new feature is the new view for Points of Interests (or POI). It makes the harbour guide information from the digital "Leg an" so nicely accessible. Here is a screen shot of that.

So enjoy our latest update and all the best for the start of the season.

Best regards, your SeaPal team.

Hello Sailors,

I presented Seapal 2.0 at the Interboot trade show in Friedrichshafen. Here is a recording of that presentation that nicely explains the features of Seapal 2.0. It also provides an outlook for version 2.1.

Hello Sailors,

version 2.0 of SeaPal has been released for a couple of days now. We put a lot of effort, care and love into this new version. The user interface has carefully been redesigned to make the app more intuitive, easier to learn and faster to use. A major focus was on managing (very) large amounts of navigational charts. We made it very easy to find the charts you want, load and activate them or even unload them.

Here is a glance at the UI.

All the best, the SeaPal team

Hello Sailors,

SeaPal is now available on Android platforms, as well. We have ported the core of the application to Android, so that most functionality is already available. We currently call it SeaPal Basic, to indicate that some features still need to be ported. We are currently working to complete this, so that the Android and iOS version will be equivalent soon.

It is available in the Google Play store now.

Have fun, your SeaPal team

Sailors, we have now released SeaPal version 1.9.1. With version 1.9 we are upgrading our harbor guide for the Lake Constance to be fully offline-capable. In addition, the new harbor guide includes a lot of new information, making it a complete digital replacement for the well known "Leg an". It has brand new detail maps of all relevant harbors for sailors around the lake. With version 1.9.1 we made a few further improvements to the database. Here is a screenshot showing a detailed harbor map of Konstanz. It fully integrates into the map view, so you can even see your current position and tracks on the detail map. More good stuff is coming up shortly.

Happy sailing, your SeaPal-Team
