I decided to take a short trip to Alpenglow at Arctic Valley ski slope. I took a few pictures #throughglass, but more importantly I got 2 really good flights in catching some amazing scenery. I'll post the videos later.

shouldn't we be raising all our children to be this way? Unfortunately too many parents raise them to be on government assistance #throughglass

+Roxann Riskin or was GREAT, she got to watch me fly my Drone up and down the ski area, and part way to the decommissioned Nike missile site. She got to meet a few folks visiting from Ireland, Germany and Italy.

Newer shop, with slightly limited quantities of juice and equipment. However they are growing, and have a staff available that has a lot of knowledge on what they are doing, and can help you find out what will be best for YOU.

Just off of Dimond Blvd, is Arctic Brewing Supply. If you are into home brewing or just thinking to get into it. You will WANT to pay them a good lengthy visit. Not only do they have all the hard supplies like bottles, cappers, carboys, but they also have a pretty good size selection of malt's, yeasts, hops and grains. Everything that you need to get started packaged together with FANTASTIC knowledge and customer service.

They were great, made the best nachos in town. Sadly they have closed after all these years due to greed of the food court proprietors.

Great service, we loved the dry rub wings, they weren't swimming in oil like most every other place. Their Philly cheese steak is about the best in town. Come hungry, leave full and happy. Prices are on par with other similar restaurants.

Being an avid fisherman, and often times having to take care of not just my own, but my mothers catch as well, I run out of time. When you are looking for quality at a good value for processing your catch, price per pound is one of the KEY factors, followed by operating hours. Indian Valley Meats, just a few short minutes drive down the scenic highway, you can drop off your catch and within a few days (usually 3) you can have your fish processed, vacuum sealed and frozen and ready to ship out. Their price per pound is, well under par. (In a good way) They are usually about 6 - 10 cents cheaper than others per pound processed. THAT in and of itself makes a wURLd of difference, especially when you are dropping off 4 coolers full of red salmon.

14 Years in Anchorage and I've never been there. My wife got hungry on our weekly outings. She decided on giving them a try. We've been back there 6 times more now. Quiet atmosphere, good service, GREAT food. Pricing is on par with other family restaurants.
