For the curious... My modified mobile workstation setup.
HP G42 laptop w/Win7 64-bit.
Google Nexus 7 tablet (1st Gen).
16GB thumb drive.
Intuos 5 Touch (medium).
Sony MDR-7505 headphones.
Not pictured: Logitech M310 wireless mouse.
Tablet currently works as streaming media monitor for Netflix, YouTube, etc. There's a screen extender app that a friend mentioned that I need to dig up the previous post for, so that I can try it. I would eventually like to incorporate an actual second monitor, of the LCD variety, as desktop real estate for graphics work is at a premium.
Headphones are actually part of my DJ gear, but they sound infinitely better than my earbuds, and until such time that I acquire some good surround sound headphones, they will suffice.
I need a beefier laptop with a bigger screen. My guess (without a ruler) is that this is a 13-14" screen, and eventually I'll need at least a 17". For the moment, though, this will do-- it was free, and I'm certainly not complaining.
Oh... And that's Manga Studio 5 on the laptop screen. Back to work now.
