Half of the tracks contain a spoken word style of motivation talk by Derek Weida. The other half are the instrumental versions of the tracks (sans the talking).
I will be quite honest in that I did not think that I would care for the tracks with the talking . . . but damn was I fucking wrong! Weida is funny as shit . . . at least I think so anyway. And seriously, who wouldn't get motivated by someone like him! The man got knocked down (took a bullet to the knee), dragged himself out of the darkest pits of hell, got knocked down again (leg amputated) and what does the guy do? Puts on his big boy underwear, straps on a prosthetic leg and continues to fuck shit up every day.
As for the music, the Larrañaga brothers put together some pretty sick tracks.
All in all it makes me want to get into the gym and start throwing shit around (PS: Don't do that in an Anytime Fitness). I love this shit! No seriously, if you like Metal for your lifting Playlist, then you should check this out. Give some fellow Minnesota boys some love and put this in your ear hole the next time you workout.
Pretty much available anywhere you buy your tunes!
