I have one of the Ubiquiti UVP phones in for testing if anyone has any questions about it.  Android seems to be a pretty stock build of 4.4.2 and it has the Play Store so most apps should work normally, most I've tested so far have.  I only have the base model though so I can't say anything about the WiFi, Bluetooth, or camera.

You can set it up manually without the UniFi controller, but software updates seem like they may be tricky in that case.

No Corporate Logo, No Bloatware, no crap you don't want on the #Nexus6 from +T-Mobile:

That's Un-carrier - listening to our customers and giving them what they want, not sticking a stupid corporate logo and a bunch of crap software I know you guys don't want on your #Nexus device.

We know you guys buy a #Nexus6 to avoid that kind of thing!

Google did want to highlight the Virtual Preload (VPL) capabilities on Lollipop, so we made MyAccount available if you want it... But you can totally delete it. That's what we do.

Hope you like what we've chosen to do there (or more importantly, what we've chosen not to do).

Des Smith, Sr. Product Manager, T-Mobile US and business owner of Nexus 6 and Nexus 9.

Totally with Linus here.  I had a Compaq in 2004 with a 15" 1680x1050 display.  1920x1200 was optional at the time.  For some reason now 1280x800 is still the standard resolution in this size and there are very few options even at 1920x1200.  The Apple Retina display is the only one above this level I'm aware of.
So with even a $399 tablet doing 2560x1600 pixel displays, can we please just make that the new standard laptop resolution? Even at 11"? Please. Stop with the "retina" crap, just call it "reasonable resolution". The fact that laptops stagnated ten years ago (and even regressed, in many cases) at around half that in both directions is just sad.

I still don't want big luggable laptops, but that 1366x768 is so last century. Christ, soon even the cellphones will start laughing at the ridiculously bad laptop displays.

And the next technology journalist that asks you whether you want fonts that small, I'll just hunt down and give an atomic wedgie. I want pixels for high-quality fonts, and yes, I want my fonts small, but "high resolution" really doesn't equate "small fonts" like some less-than-gifted tech pundits seem to constantly think.

In fact, if you have bad vision, sharp good high-quality fonts will help. #noexcuses

+Robert Dailey Are you still maintaining SABconnect++? If so, I've done a little bit of work on it to make it work with the updated

I'm also working on DogNZB support, but that's proving harder since they use a custom Coldfusion frontend on top of Newznab which doesn't put RSSTOKEN anywhere accessible in the DOM.

Hey +Fraser Cain and +Pamela Gay , is there possibly a better way to handle +Astronomy Cast rather than backdating the RSS posts? Maybe put the "intended date" in the title and just put the RSS up with the real date? iTunes does not automatically download your new episodes reliably when they're backdated nor do they always show up properly in the iOS iTunes Store list. I love the show, but the backdating makes it really hard to keep up with it.
