This particuar episode may be old, but timeless and I fear that there are so many people in this country who think just the way Rita does. She cannot give any examples of concrete facts; just gives her own (completely uneducated) opinion.

A friend of mine shared an email that initially was a software app to help debug system level activity on a Linux server (sysdig.org). The story that he pulled it from is even more enlightening as you see the behavior of a hacker after his honeypot is compromised. Really interesting read...

I want to thank my friend Larry Kelly for sharing this article with me. As I'm often in the weeds with my own LAMP environments, I didn't even really realize that some other environments had been taking off in support of today's newest best-of-breed web technologies, like the MEAN stack (http://www.mean.io/#!/). You can be certain that I'm going to now install this on my machine and begin to master it along with my tried and true LAMP stack.

LOL Corina, it is absolutely wonderful to have 2 external monitors. The 24" (smaller of the 2) is using a $60 USB monitor video card. Well worth it, as my Mac is 2012 and doesn't have the multiple Thunderbolt ports.

It's really hard to do a comparison between Wordpress and Drupal, I won't even mention Joomla. This article does a good job at some of the ancilliary points for each platform.

And it keeps getting harder. Not too long ago, if you cared about taxonomy, multiple admins, or granular permissions Drupal was the obvious choice. But Wordpress is addressing issues like these.

Drupal's SEO and admin user interface have similarly been improving.

A lot still depends on what you're comfortable with, but there's less likelihood that someone will be able to reasonably tell you you were just wrong in what you chose.

It was relatively easy to book a morning tee-time the day before. I arrived to find the course was not overly populated, which means we would most likely not have slow play in front of us, or somebody breathing down our necks behind us. The course's conditions, with all of the rain we have had recently was very good. The greens were soft, the fairways green and giving, and the rough was 'rough'. It was definitely challenging for me, although it had been a couple of years since I had last played a round anywhere. I could not have found a better course to use to return to the game. As this was the first time in a few years that I have played 18-holes in Texas, I started to fade toward the end as the sun was relentless. For this reason, if you are like me, then maybe 4-5 hours in direct sun may take its toll on you, book your tee time for 7:00, or as close to it as you can. The only complaint I had about the entire experience, is that this Sunday (Father's Day) there were no cooked items for sale in the 19th-hole, or in the pro-shop. I didn't take any food with me from home as I expected I would be able to grab somthing of sustenance between the front and back nine. Didn't happen, and I really could have used that extra burst of energy to carry me through to th end.

We recently moved back to SA from Philadelphia, and good pizza abounds in Philly. We were extremely happy with Rome's Pizza and stopped going to all of the other local pizzarias after having one of their pies. The dough and crust are fresh as well as their ingredients and toppings. They also offer many toppings that are not usually found at other places. I highly recommend trying one of their many pizzas; I'm getting hungry just thinking about them.
