Beautiful, big and comfortable room. Countryside location far away from traffic noise, though there is a little avionic noise from the nearby airport during daytime. Easy access ro the beach and the Marine Reserve. Surrounded by garden and forest, with beautiful oceanside trails. Excellent breakfast. Very clean, lots of free parking. Recommended.

Hello Yitzhak Weissman, You're excellent 5 star review has made our day and put smiles on everyone's faces, thank you! We're thrilled to hear that our spacious rooms, comfy beds, cleanliness and tranquil location all offered you a fantastic vacation. Our coastal location between the beach and the forest is one of our favorite qualities; we love knowing you feel the same. The only thing we love more than a five star review is welcoming back familiar faces; we can't wait to see you again in the future.

Recommend this place. Another charming bed and breakfast by Four Sisters Inn. This one is in a beautiful location. It is close to the ocean and near a beautiful ocean bluff trail. It also has a lovely garden in the back where I enjoyed their complimentary late afternoon snacks. Take note that this place is in Half Moon Bay, where it's often cold and cloudy, so bring your jackets or go somewhere else if you want warmer weather and sunshine. I stayed in room 5 on the top floor. Huge room with a fireplace, a small balcony and a beautiful view of the garden and the ocean. The room also came with a large bathroom and jacuzzi and a comfortable king size spring mattress. However, the room is quite simple and bare. Service was good. Enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine, breakfast and late afternoon snacks. Overall, a great stay.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night, and wish I could have stayed the weekend. We had a wonderfully romantic evening and I could not have thought of a better place to stay than the Seal Cove Inn. The rooms are elegant rather than the tacky decor you might find at other B&Bs. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious, and the fireplace is very romantic (easy-light logs provided). This Inn has the elegance of a high-end hotel and the comfy/cosy atmosphere of a bed a breakfast all in one! The location feels secluded and the beach is just a 10 minute walk away through a beautiful grove of cypress trees. The food was fantastic including the afternoon appetizers and the breakfast. The staff was also very helpful in finding us a place to eat for dinner. Details like the the fireplace in the bedroom, the morning paper delivered to your door, turn-down service with chocolates on the bed, and tea and coffee always available made this stay simply unforgettable! At this price, a stay at Seal Cove is too good to pass up. I will be coming back soon.

Beautiful location, wonderful walking trails, relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I have stayed at least eight times dating back to 1999 and it is a great place to quickly unwind. This past Monday we were enthralled by watching from one of the cliff trails harbor seals resting and playing on the beach. What a show. Privately run again and no longer part of the Four Sisters Inns group which means hearty breakfasts are cooked to order and served (as opposed to continental buffet type breakfasts).

Excellent venue for a relaxing weekend on the coast - I can't think of a better one. The garden setting with easy walk through cypress trees down to the tide pools is one thing but the inn itself is incredible. The rooms are well appointed, quiet, and very comfortable. Attention to detail is apparent from breakfast through tea to the turn down service. We stayed once with a full Half Moon Bay itinerary but have learned that a good amount of time needs to be allocated to just enjoying the inn itself which is a truly enjoyable experience in and of itself.
