The AAOMP Comes to San Diego

An Update on Oral Cancer and other conditions for Dentists & Dental Specialists

In conjunction with the 69th annual meeting of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology (AAOMP), the third time the specialty group has met in San Diego since 1968, they are providing a super potent review of hot topics and new information on selected oral diseases for the San Diego Dental (healthcare) community.

Topics will range from prevention to diagnosis to management of the common and challenging mouth problems you regularly encounter in practice.

The new medical waste laws went into place earlier this year.  If you are confused or have questions about the new procedures read this article from the CDA.  Also available through practice support is a sample Medical Waste Management and Disposal Plan.

Live Streaming will be happening at CDA Presents in Anaheim, so if you cannot make this event register and watch some seminars online. The streaming will give you the ability to earn up to 7.5 CE units.

The CDA Cares event at the weekend provided 14,000 dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, cleanings and oral health education.  The magnitude of work being provided at these events indicates a problem with cost-effective, quality programs to improve the oral health of Californians.
