I just saw this really awesome write up from the Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce on my latest Google presentation. It's always a pleasure to speak and help train business owners on the very simple yet effective actions they can take to get more customers online.

Let's Put Alpine #ontheMap Thanks to Mary Rynearson at the Alpine Chamber and Eric Lund at the +San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce  Here's the write up and some photos taken by Kathy Foster Photography in Alpine.

Thank You to everyone at +Street View Trusted, GYBO, GMB, Cardboard for putting together the Top Contributor meetup. It was super informative and fun to be able to interact with the awesome staff at Google. Not to mention being able to share ideas and stories with photographers from around the world. Some of the best conversatons I've had in while. Oh BTW, my son already stole the headphones...haha.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the holiday season and got 2016 off to a great start!

I wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to all those who I've had the pleasure of working with in 2015. It's because of your support that I was able to grow my business and persevere when tragedy struck my family. It was definitely a roller-coaster.

Since mostly everybody I know disappeared after Thanksgiving I was able to get started on my plans for 2016 a bit earlier... during this time I actually realized I've reached a milestone in my career. Let me share with you a bit..

In case you didn't know, exactly 20 years ago I ventured out on my own and began offering web design, photography and online marketing services for businesses of all sizes. It's definitely been the foundation for my life's work and am proud to say I've helped so many great businesses transition into the digital world.

Over the years, I've listened to thousands of emotional customer stories which became the fuel for my passion. As a result, I decided to host free workshops and group training's to deliver much needed information to the local business community. I never thought of myself as a public speaker. Scary, but it's pretty fun.

In 2012, I had the privilege to get involved with Google when I became a Street View Trusted Photographer. This led to even more growth and expertise in my field. Just this past year I got involved with their GYBO program to help local businesses become visible on Google Maps and Search. More public speaking, YAY!

As I reflected back on my accomplishments I asked myself, "what have I always wanted to do but couldn't and why?", I noticed I've been getting everyone else visible online and my own visibility is suffering. Simply no time to fit myself in the schedule.

Time is one of the most important factors in everyone's life. I also really disliked turning people away because of how busy I was. This year is going to be a bit different in terms of how I will work with businesses.

With some of my own online training resources and educational tools I plan on reaching more people than ever before. I can't wait to launch it in the upcoming weeks.

Basically, I really want to have fun, build some awesome online content and see how many more people I can help in the process. Possibly even finish that book that's sitting on my hard drive. :)

There's a great year ahead... treat it as if it's your last.
Work, But Always Play!
