Meet Biscuit our little Valentine…

Biscuit is a gorgeous 14 week old pug, who was referred over to Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists from Castle Veterinary Clinic, Dorchester and Weymouth last week. Biscuit was taken to Castle Vets after jumping out of her guardian’s daughter’s arms and yelping, and then was not using her leg. Biscuit came in to see us on Valentine’s Day to have x-rays, which showed a right radius fracture with moderate displacement and ulnar fracture with minimal displacement (or broken leg to you and me). Biscuit had surgery by one of our orthopaedic surgeons Phil Witte, who used a tiny 1.5/2mm plate and 2mm screws to fix her leg (see x-rays). Biscuit also received lots of love and cuddles from all the staff at SCVS; she became everyone’s Valentine that day! She is now at home doing well and getting even more cuddles! #vetmagicmoments #puglove #pug #veterinaryspecialists
