RIP 2016 By christhebarker

From TRENDS (Mexico City):

No doubt, 2016 will be remembered not only as the year in the UK decided to leave the European Union or when the Americans chose Donald Trump as president, but also because it was the year when several celebrities left this world.

A Twitter user found a way to deal with the sadness felt by every one who learned of the death of a musician or actor, recreated the cover of the iconic Beatles album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

In the picture, you can see David Bowie, Prince, Leonard Cohen, Alan Rickman, George Martin and Gene Wilder and the last update was December 9 when Chris Barker, art director for a British magazine, added astronaut John Glenn .

In a tweet he published in his account and in which he unveiled the montage, Baker wrote: "What a year, I thought of David Bowie, Brexit and now this," referring to the night of the United States presidential election, day in The one that took over the project.

"A lot of people speculate that Bowie was the one who kept order in the universe. It's definitely been a bit different since he died. [...] At first it was not going to be a montage of the celebrities who died in the Sgt Pepper style, that came later, "he told the Billboard site.

Muhammad Ali, actor Anton Yelchin, Keith Emerson, comedian Garry Shandling, reggae singer Prince Buster, golfer Arnold Palmer, writing Harper Lee, actor George Kennedy, Kenny Baker, R2D2, the architect Zaha Hadid and the singer Maurice White, among others.
