Alaska Fireweed
Took this photo while location scouting for upcoming photo tours. Once the blooms have reached the top, the fireweed goes to seed and the leaves below turn a bright red with some yellow in the mix.

There's nothing like bears in Alaska!
Was this bear smiling for the camera, or thinking of me as a tasty snack. :) I love our big wild life!

Denali National Park - First Snow
Thinking about friends heading into Denali National Park for a week, it's going to be GREAT!  Reflecting on my time in the park last year, and realizing I never really shared any of my images... better late than never!

I'm a repeat customer with King of the River, and I'm one that has never come home empty handed! Last year they added free accommodations for full-day fishing trips, which was a huge benefit. I was able to leave the night before from Anchorage, enjoy very comfortable accommodations, and wakeup fully rested to land some salmon! Highly recommended and will be back again in July 2015!
