+Ana Hoffman  makes a very interesting point about Branding. Do we brand ourselves or our Business?... she falls on the side of the person since the person survives when and if the brand may need to be retired or changed. Not the perspective that a lot of business owners want to hear, but certainly the direction that works inside the brave new world of Google, Google+ and Authority tied to a person.
