Hello community, I'm looking for some beta testers on a new free site I just created...

It allows users to enter the date on which their DNA kit was activated, the date that the kit arrived at the lab, the date the lab began processing their kit, and the date the lab was done processing their DNA sample.

Providing your dates here on this website will help you and others who are getting their DNA tested to get a better understanding of current or average wait times.

https://dnaprocessingtime.com/

At this time, we only support AncestryDNA, however, in the next few weeks, we’ll be opening it up for the other popular DNA testing companies.

Observation of the day:

In the New UI, you will only find the Saved Search widget while in the People tab or Jobs tab. Some people are confused and think they don't have the ability to save searches. Sometimes this is true (because LinkedIn has chosen not to integrate Saved Search capabilities into some accounts at this time), however, most of the time it is simply because the person is not looking in the right place.

However, after conducting a search on LinkedIn, the default tab that is loaded is the "Top" tab, which shows an assortment of various search results from jobs, people, groups, companies, etc.

If you want to save a search, you must click over to the People tab or Jobs tab, then scroll down the page and look for the Save Search widget in the right sidebar.

Observation of the Day:

It appears that 90%-95% of all LinkedIn users now have the "New UI" as of two days ago.

Observation of the Day:

LinkedIn no longer allows members with the New LinkedIn UI or with Sales Navigator to view out-of-network 3rd and 4th degree connections. It will say 'Linkedin Member' where the person's name would usually appear and if you try to click on the link to visit the profile, it will give you this type of message:

Update.

Today, in the New UI, some people are seeing 14 profiles per search result page instead of the standard 10 for free users or 20 for Business Plus users.

Saved Searches in the New LinkedIn UI

Business Plus subscribers get up to 7 saved searches.

Free subscribers get 3 saved searches.

Not all users who have the New UI have access to Saved Searches yet.

Job alerts are separate from Search alerts.
