This is a really interesting idea. I started drinking only about a year and a half ago, and I don't feel like I have much of a handle on wine yet. (Except that I seem to prefer heavy reds.) So I'm interested to see where this goes.

Plussers!  I wanted to share with you a new webseries I launched today on demystifying wine tasting.  The premise is I take a bottle of wine that's been wrapped in a brown bag out to the man on the street and we do a wine tasting and then talk about it.  What I make them do is describe the wine in terms of their occupation.  For example a teacher may describe the taste is A+ or an F!  The first episode is with a woman who owns and runs a handmade shoe store.  See what she has to say: Brown Bag Wine Tasting: Bare Sole
