Hi All,

Have been exploring "singing the Boar's Head Carol" ... traveled a little further with musical envisioning re "Boar's Head Carol" here - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/02/wild-boar-carols-music-singing-boars.html - and a wee bit in the direction of Stanford and the Grateful Dead musically ... the Letterman interview here from 1982 is great ... and check out great Steeleye Span reviews (as well as the PDFs of the whole Stanford Daily papers from the 1970s) ... how to bring together "Boar's Head Carol," one's own singing group {UUCPA}, Stanford and Grateful Dead ? (just thinking a little bit out of the box) ...

Aloha,
Scott

Hey Davina,

Here's Indonesia World University and School - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Indonesia (before WUaS moves to a new wiki emerging from CC Wikidata, which is CC Wikipedia's database developing for its 358 languages with structured data) - and which is planned in the main Indonesian language(s) - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Malay/Indonesian_language - for free CC MIT OCW-centric and CC Yale OYC University degrees (Bachelor, Ph.D., law and M.D.), while remaining a wiki (editable web pages) for open teaching and learning, also planned in Indonesian. It would be great to stay in touch as CC WUaS begins to develop in both the main / official Indonesian languages for free CC university (and planned I.B. high school) degrees, as well as wiki schools for open teaching and learning in ALL languages in Indonesia. :)

Here's my "Indonesian" blog entry label - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/Indonesian - where I also blog a lot about WUaS especially.

And here's Tito Dimas in a video from a few years ago - "WUaS Indonesia - Planning for MIT OCW-centric WUaS in Indonesian and English, and Translation" ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdipRA8u4kw . Tito is one of World University and School's Board members, who is a lecturer at the University of Indonesia in Jakarta as well (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tito-dimas-atmawijaya-55431313). Davina finished at UC Berkeley recently in its School of Engineering in EE & Computer Science, and is a programmer - https://www.linkedin.com/in/dboedijono - and speaks fluent Indonesian.

Here, too, is a WUaS blog entry about Indonesia WUaS with Tito and my talk - http://worlduniversityandschool.blogspot.com/2013/08/indonesian-translation-accreditation.html.

Davina, WUaS seeks to become the Harvard / MIT of the Internet university in the main/official Indonesian language, as well as wiki schools as Harvards / Wikipedia-schools in all of Indonesia's languages.

And here's my blog entry from today for you - "Banggai cardinal fish: Stanford be blowing' ma' mInd, again and again" http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/02/banggai-cardinal-fish-stanford-be.html :)

Best regards,
Scott

Hi, Harvard Anthropology, (Harbin Springs' Anthropologists) and China Scholars,

Greetings from the SF Bay Area. Here are two interesting, upcoming anthropology talks with a China focus, as well (per Zachary Howlett's upcoming Harvard Anthropology talk; see - http://www.cornell.edu/video/zach-howlett-chinas-national-college-entrance-exam-gaokao-as-fateful-rite-of-passage), at UC Berkeley Tourism Studies Working Group (TSWG) - http://tourismstudies.org - of which I'm a member, but which won't be streamed online, for your information.

And here, by the way, is my new actual-virtual sociocultural anthropological book - http://www.scottmacleod.com/ActualVirtualHarbinBook.html - in a new Academic Press at World University and School (of which I'm the founder and current president), which is planned in all 7,097 known, living languages with machine translation.

Wiki CC World University and School (WUaS) seeks to create an online major university in each of all countries' main languages, offering Bachelor, Ph.D., Law and M.D. degrees, as well as I.B. high school degrees. WUaS seeks to accredit on CC MIT OCW in 7 languages (which includes OCW in Traditional Chinese. See World University and School - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/ - and the CC MIT OCW in the Mandarin Chinese language - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/traditional-chinese/) and our beginning WIKI China World University and School - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/China and Mandarin language WUaS - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Mandarin_language_(Chinese) - both planned in Mandarin (with 10s of thousands of wiki web pages potentially), and before WUaS moves to a new wiki emerging from CC Wikidata, which is CC Wikipedia's database developing with its 358 languages.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Scott
