So I'm due for an upgrade on my phone with Verizon Wireless in a week.  I'm going to lose my grandfathered unlimited data, but we really don't use a ton of data and generally use less than a 1GB per month each.  None the less, my wife and I both have Galaxy NEXUS devices that have been great to have.  But after 2 years, we're ready for our upgrades.  I'm in a week, and she is next month.

I personally like the 'pure' Android experience, but being on Verizon really limits the options of availability.  It seems to me the closest, and best, phone available on Verizon for that is the Moto X.  Although I have to admit I'm a little hesitant after yesterday's announcement.  None the less, I am still leaning in that direction.

The other alternative I'm looking at is the Note 3.  I'm not 100% sure I'm comfortable with the size, and I really need to use it more before I'll be certain, but I know in general I'm not a fan of TouchWhiz and the Samsung Bloatware.

So, I'm asking for opinions from those that own the devices, or have owned them, and for any of the 'latest' info on any phones that will be making their way to Verizon in the near future.  I can wait a bit if it's really worth it, but I am really ready for an upgrade.    ;)

I don't have either device, but I have 2 coworkers with the Note 3. One loves it, one wants to replace it. The complaints are with the size and TouchWhiz. I have an S3 for my work phone and I really don't like TouchWhiz at all. If I was making the same choice, I'd probably go with the Moto X, but I'd test it out first if I could. Coming from a pure Google Nexus, you're likely to find TouchWhiz to be more in the way than useful (my personal phone is an N5 and I dread having to do anything but phone calls and email on the work S3).

I love seeing the photographer in the background watching instead of getting the shot. :)

Very good food and a great value. Vica and her mom are very friendly and it's hard to beat their service. It's small and cozy inside, but it's a great place to grab a wonderful panini, sandwich, or salad.
